The short answer: we don't use tracking cookies
CleanPaths is built on a no-tracking-cookie architecture. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing that legally requires one (no ad cookies, no analytics cookies, no cross-site trackers).
What your browser does store
| Item | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free-tier usage counter | localStorage (not a cookie) | Remembers how many free conversions you've used today so the 10/day limit works | Resets daily |
| License cache | localStorage (not a cookie) | Keeps your Pro license active offline after activation | Until you clear site data |
| UI preferences (if any) | localStorage | Remembers settings like your preferred DXF version | Until you clear site data |
These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Under GDPR/ePrivacy (and Brazil's LGPD), strictly-necessary storage does not require consent. None of it is used for advertising, profiling, or tracking across sites.
Analytics without cookies
We currently do not use any third-party analytics service. If we add one in the future, it will be a privacy-focused analytics tool that works without cookies and collects only aggregate, anonymous statistics (page views, approximate region, device type). It will not identify you and will not follow you around the web.
If this ever changes
If we ever introduce any non-essential cookie, we will: (1) update this page first, and (2) show a consent banner before setting it. We don't expect this to happen.
Managing your choices
You can clear or block local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking it may degrade the Service (e.g., the free daily counter and Pro offline activation may not work).
